The last bite of porridge

You did not dissappoint! Thanks for starting my Saturday morning off on the right foot. I tried this Quinoa porridge recipe and it was not only easy to make but also delish. Like for real yummy.

Three simple ingredients:
  • Quinoa
  • Maple syrup - I used blue agave
  • Milk

Cook the Quinoa as you would normally according to the package directions except substitute the milk for water or broth and add the maple syrup to taste. Tip: Always use 2 parts milk, water or broth to 1 part Quinoa when cooking.  Bring to a boil, stir, lower the heat, cover and let simmer for 15 to 20 minutes. I stirred often so that it would not stick nor burn since I was using  milk. I topped with fresh blueberries and voila! A nice healthy, oh so good, alternative to oatmeal in the morning.
