|The last bite of porridge|
You did not dissappoint! Thanks for starting my Saturday morning off on the right foot. I tried this Quinoa porridge recipe and it was not only easy to make but also delish. Like for real yummy.
Three simple ingredients:
- Maple syrup - I used blue agave
Cook the Quinoa as you would normally according to the package directions except substitute the milk for water or broth and add the maple syrup to taste. Tip: Always use 2 parts milk, water or broth to 1 part Quinoa when cooking.
Bring to a boil, stir, lower the heat, cover and let simmer for 15 to 20 minutes. I stirred often so that it would not stick nor burn since I was using milk. I topped with fresh blueberries and voila! A nice healthy, oh so good, alternative to oatmeal in the morning.
