Nouveau Heritage: Your life in photos

Document your life in pictures no matter how you are feeling in the moment. Most of us do. . . sorta. We take tons of pics of the happenings around us but how many of us jump in front of the lens without a lot of prodding and pushing?

When the years pass you’ll need that physical documentation that you existed.

That you participated.

That you were with them and enjoyed the moment enough to capture that snippet of time.

I’m guilty of hiding behind the camera. The last few years have been the worse. While I have hundreds of pics of my adorable munchkins not so much of me and Mr. Jones. It seems that the camera always makes an appearance on my worse days.

During a recent outing with the kids a woman noticed me taking pics of them and asked if I wanted her to take one of the 3 of us. I declined and said I was not photo ready. Her response was “you’re always photo ready when with your children”.  Touché random lady. Touché!

Too bad you had a shaky hand!

And so I vow to include myself in at least 1 photo op during each event. I don’t want to regret it later in life. Even if the image is distorted and unflattering.

Love,
Mrs. Jones
